I believe that education is not just about acquiring knowledge—it's about fostering curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student has the potential to succeed, and it's my job to provide them with the tools, support, and encouragement they need to reach their full potential.

Volunteering and Living Abroad
When I was in college, I spent two different summers volunteering in Peru and the Dominican Republic. These experiences created a turning point for me. Living in these countries and developing relationships with the people there, sparked a deep love for the language, people, and culture. It went beyond teaching English or volunteering; it was about growing up and connecting deeply. Those experiences grew in me a passion for Spanish and Hispanic cultures and people, shaping my future. After Peru, I knew Spanish and its rich cultures had to be a big part of my life. I returned to the US and changed y major to Spanish, and began the journey that I continue today. -Kelley
